Let us take you to the heart of Svartisen!
To reach the mighty Engabreen glacier, you must cross the beautiful Holandsfjord. We at tilSvartisen (formerly Engenbreen skyss) provide safe and comfortable boat transport.
Our regular routes run from the end of May to the end of September. Outside the season, you are welcome to send us a request for transportation.

We will drive you safely from Holandsvika to the pier at Svartisen in about 15 minutes. The boat trip itself is a fantastic experience, with beautiful views of the fjord and the surroundings. We recommend that you have your camera ready!

Where to find us?
The tour begins in Holandsvika, located on the FV17, just 1 km from the tourist information center.
Parking can be found either in Holandsvika, along the road or at the tourist information. From there it is a short walk down to the pier where our boat, Oksøy, awaits you. Our crew will help you on board. We ask that you be mindful of guests leaving the boat before you board yourself.
When you arrive at the pier at Svartisen, you will find Engen Brygge(pier). It offers facilities such as bicycle rental, toilets and accommodation. From the pier, an approx. 3 km long gravel road awaits before the climb up the mountain to the glacier itself begins.
