We collect and process personal data as an employer, service provider, for marketing purposes, in connection with visits to our website www.tilsvartisen.no and if you visit or use our social media profiles.

What personal information we collect and why we collect it

We collect the following personal data for the purposes set out here:

  1. Customer information: The following personal data is processed: Name of contact person, email address, telephone number and address.

    The processing of personal data is based on consent, in order to fulfill an agreement or after a balancing of interests.
  2. On the website you can choose to subscribe to newsletters from til Svartisen. In order for us to be able to send out newsletters and provide information about our business, we must at least register your name or company and an email address.
    If you receive newsletters from us and no longer wish to receive them, there is an unsubscribe button in all newsletters we send out, so that you will not receive any more.

    The information is stored in a separate table in the database, is not shared with others and is deleted if the subscription is terminated. You can withdraw your consent to the storage of your contact information at any time. We will then delete your contact information from the marketing campaign and/or newsletter mailing list.
  3. If you filled out the contact form on the website or sent an email directly, we collect your name, email address, phone number and other information in the inquiry.

    We need this information to be able to get in touch with you and respond to inquiries that come to us.
    The information you provide will be stored as long as it is relevant and will not be used for marketing and/or newsletters.

Who we share your information with

We store your personal data with us for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which the personal data was collected.

Personal data that we process to fulfill a contract with you will be deleted when the contract has been fulfilled and all obligations arising from the contractual relationship have been fulfilled.

We are obliged to retain some information for a certain period. The information is then deleted when the retention period has expired.

The Accounting Act requires us to store transaction data for 5 years. In order to safeguard customers’ rights in connection with warranties and complaints in accordance with the Consumer Purchase Act, the Purchase Act and our own terms and conditions of sale, we store purchase history for up to 10 years.

If we process your personal data based on your consent, you can withdraw your consent at any time.

You also have the right to request access to the information we process about you, and you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority if you believe your rights are not being safeguarded.

Domeneshop AS

Google Analytics and Google Ads

We use Google Ads to run advertisements for our products and services, Google Analytics to analyze data about the use of our services, visitors and purchases on our website. However, we do not extract individual information about you from this data.

Zettle by PayPal

In our physical stores and restaurant, we use the Zettle cash register system for the sale of products, including a bank terminal. Skjellstad Regnskap AS

We use Skjellstad Regnskap as our accounting office. This means that it is Skjellstad Regnskap that handles information about invoices and other payment information that does not go through the website or cash register system.
