The Ingeniørgården on Fondalsøyra has an exciting story to tell that dates back to 1935, when it was built as a residence for engineers at the local mine. Through an extensive restoration in 2022 and 2023, the farm has been given new life, while retaining its charming, historical character. When mining operations ceased just after World War II in 1945, Ingeniørgården was purchased by Fonndalen farm and has since been in Fonndalen's ownership.
