The Engineering Farm on Fondalsøyra has an exciting story to tell, dating back to 1935, when it was built as a residence for engineers at the local mine. Through an extensive restoration in 2022 and 2023, the farm has been given new life, while retaining its charming, historic character.

When mining operations ceased immediately after World War II in 1945, Ingeniørgården was purchased by Fonndalen farm and has since been owned by Fonndalen.
