An overnight stay unlike any other
If you want to experience more without having to travel out of the area and back again, staying overnight is a good idea.
We have a variety of accommodation options in the area: Bryggeloftet, Lillehytta and Storehytta, in addition to tent sites in the area around Brestua. We also offer accommodation at Ingeniørgården in Fonndalen.
By staying here, you can feel what Svartisen really has to offer! When evening comes, the peace will also sink even more.
You can hike in different hiking trails, book glacier hiking or take a refreshing bath & sauna. The choice is yours. Start your day with your own breakfast on the balcony, or order breakfast from Brestua, feel the fresh glacier air and enjoy the silence of nature. This is an experience we believe everyone should experience.
The pier loft
Bryggeloftet (the pier loft) is our smallest, but perhaps coziest place to stay. There is a small table where you can enjoy your morning coffee with a view of the fjord and the ice. In the evening you can bring out the fire pan and grill if desired.
The Little Cabin
Lillehytten (the little cabin) is our smallest cabin and is located just a few hundred meters from Brestua and about one km from the boat. It has its own bathroom with a shower, a living room and kitchen, and one bedroom.
The Large Cabin
Storhytten (The large cabin) is located just a few hundred meters from Brestua and about a kilometer from the boat. The large cabin is suitable for a large family or two small families.
Ingeniørgården
Ingeniørgården is a historic gem at the foot of Svartisen with a lot of history. It has up to 11 beds, perfect for larger families and groups of friends.
Tåkeheimen
In addition to our accommodation options, you will also find Tåkeheimen at 1073 m above sea level. This is owned and administered by DNT.
